DEHNER, Michael

Ravensburg (Germany), 1978

Multiinstrumentalist and music producer. Has studied audio engineering at the SAE Munich in 1998. Also he studied singing at the Jazz & Rock School Freiburg (Germany) from 2001-2004. He has participated in many different music projects in Germany and Barcelona as composer, musician or sound engineer and producer.

Since 2009 he is teaching primary and secondary music classes at the Hamelin Laie International School.


GARÍN, Eva

Born in Barcelona, ​​she began her musical studies at the age of 8 with classical clarinet, at the Sant Andreu Municipal Music School. Later, she began playing the jazz saxophone with Joan Chamorro, forming part of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band from its beginnings until 2012, where she defined herself as a polinstrumentalist (clarinet, baritone sax, trombone and trumpet). With this band she recorded three albums and performed alongside great players such as Perico Sambeat, Dick Oatts, Ken Peplowski, Scott Robinson, Bobby Gordon, etc.. 

She obtained a professional degree in classical clarinet at the Municipal Conservatory of Music of Barcelona, a diploma in music teaching at the University of Barcelona and higher degree of interpretation of Jazz and Modern Music at the ESEM Taller de Músics.

As a musician she is part of the big band Original Jazz Orquestra of TM under the direction of David Pastor, the fanfare Balkan Paradise Orchestra, and  is a member and conductor of the Marxing and the Dixie band  of Taller de Músics.

She has also been very active in education, teaching in different music schools of Barcelona.


MORENO, Alberto

Barcelona 1979

He studied piano and composition at the Barcelona Municipal Music Conservatory. Due to his concerns and above all his interest in Jazz, he extends his training by studying piano and
harmony with Bruce Barth, Kenny Barron and Albert Bover.

He has played with Errol Woiski, Xavi Maureta, Joan Chamorro, Eladio Reinón, Araceli
Aiguaviva, Joan Albert Amargós, Loni Geest, Thierry Courault,… He has also performed in
different shows: the opening ceremonies of the World Athletics Championships in Barcelona (2010) and the Swimming Championships (2013) with Nacho Cano, Salvador Niebla and the OBC, Els Pirates (Dagoll Dagom 1997), Sondheim in concert (2001), etc…

He has also been very active in education, teaching at Musicwood (1995-2007), at the Aula de Música Moderna Municipal de Cerdanyola (2006-07), at the Escola Municipal de Música de Vallirana Aureli Vila (2006-08) and Hamelin-Laie International School (from 2007) where he has implemented a practical musical learning programme in Big Band and he is currently Head of Secondary.


MORERA, Josep

Barcelona, 1977

He studied music at the Escola de Música Moderna de Badalona.

He has participated and participates in numerous musical projects as a composer and instrumentalist. He has published eight albums of his own; Trapecística Verdad (2016) and Campo Sagrado (2020), among them.

At the same time, he has been working as a music teacher in primary and secondary schools for many years.

On the other hand, he studied Humanities at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and advanced studies (official master’s degree) in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature. He is currently working on a PhD thesis at the same university.
